My concept is taken from the meaning of the word Frontier being the ‘Extreme Limit’ as well as a ‘Border’ or ‘Boundary’. I took these meanings to create something that pushes the boundaries of advertising. From my research it became apparent that humorous advertisements are the most appealing to the target audience of 25-35 year olds. The headline is adaptable and can be changed for a more versatile campaign. By using large format print advertisements in busy public spaces such as the on public transport and large scale billboards will contribute towards the the humour as well as making it more memorable to the consumer. Bars and Pubs will also be supplied with beer mats that will use the same concept of having words missing on them, prompting people to add their own words in the spaces. This will be a way for the consumer to interact with the promotional material and have fun with it.
